It was revealed yesterday that The Big Bang Theory’s “The Stockholm Syndrome” series finale has been nominated for three Emmy awards. The comedy and acting categories did not include The Big Bang Theory or any of its actors.
For his work on the finale, Mark Cendrowski, who oversaw 244 of the 279 episodes of the program, received a nomination in the category “Outstanding Directing For A Comedy Series.” The other contenders include Amy Sherman-Palladino (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel: All Alone), Daniel Palladino (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel: We’re Going to the Catskills! ), Bill Hader (Barry: Ronny/lily), Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag: Episode 1), and Alec Berg (Barry: The Audition).
