Disadvantages of Computer Networking

  • The “central server” is the primary server in a network of computers. The whole network would be rendered inoperable in the event of a problem with or a failure of the central server. The reliance on a single server is a significant drawback.
  • Because of the linked nature of computers in a network, it is likely that the virus will spread from infected computer to infected computer. The system as a whole may be harmed by this propagation. Furthermore, as the network is dependent on the central server, its corruption poses a significant threat.
  • There is no autonomy in the network because it relies on a single server. This means that users cannot conduct their own preferences in how they employ the computer.
  • The various benefits and uses of a network inevitably lead to users being exposed to several, potentially distracting services at once. Thus, problems with productivity are widespread since workers tend to multitask. 
  • Entertainment in the form of games, films, and other media may be accessed through a computer network. This causes you to rely too much on these services since you can’t get enough of the addictive material. You’ll feel tired and have headaches and bodily aches from staring at screens for too long.
