Argus, short for Audit Record Generation and Utilization System is a free and open source cyber security tool and is most widely used for analyzing network traffic. It is used for in- depth analysis of the data which are being communicated over the network. It has capabilities of sifting through massive amounts of traffic and providing a comprehensive report.
