Suppose you’ve ever uploaded a YouTube video and watched it get a decent number of views but barely any comments, you know how frustrating it can be. Comments play a huge role in engagement, signaling to the YouTube algorithm that your content is worth recommending. A video with lots of meaningful comments tends to rank better, get suggested more often, and attract even more organic interactions.
But getting people to comment isn’t always easy. Even when I directly asked viewers to leave a comment, most would watch the video and move on. I tried replying to every comment I received, running small giveaways, and even engaging on other YouTube channels to drive interactions, but the results were underwhelming. That’s when I started researching YouTube comment services.
At first, I was skeptical. Buying comments sounded risky, and I’d heard horror stories of people getting spammy, bot-generated messages that hurt their channel. But after testing multiple platforms, I found one that stood out: LenosTube. In this article, I’ll share my experience, the good, and the bad, and whether buying YouTube comments is actually worth it.
The Problems with Some YouTube Comment Services
When I first started looking into buying YouTube comments, I quickly realized that not all services were created equal. Many platforms promised “real engagement,” but after testing several, I encountered multiple problems that made me regret spending my money. Here are some of the biggest issues I faced with low-quality YouTube comment providers:
1. Spammy, Generic, and Irrelevant Comments
One of the most common problems with cheap YouTube comment services is that they often generate spammy or completely irrelevant messages. I purchased comments from a few platforms, and instead of meaningful engagement, I received generic phrases like:
- “Nice video!”
- “Keep it up!”
- “Wow, great content!”
While these might seem harmless, they don’t add real value to the conversation. Worse, some comments made no sense with my video. For example, I posted a tutorial, and one of the paid comments said, “Great music video!” which was a clear sign that these were automated, low-quality interactions.
2. Bot-Generated and Low-Quality Accounts
Another major issue is that many services use bots or inactive accounts to generate comments. When I checked the profiles of some commenters, I noticed they had no profile pictures, no uploaded videos, and no subscribers which are classic signs of fake accounts. YouTube is getting smarter at detecting and removing engagement from suspicious users, meaning these comments often disappear within days. This not only wastes money but can also raise red flags on your channel.
3. No Real Engagement or Conversation
The whole point of buying comments is to increase engagement, but low-quality services fail to create meaningful interaction. Since many of the comments are random and irrelevant, they don’t encourage real viewers to join the discussion. A healthy comment section should feel natural, with users replying to each other, asking questions, and discussing the video’s content, not just a wall of generic praise.
4. Potential YouTube Policy Violations
YouTube has strong Policies against fake engagements, hence utilizing spammy comment tools could endanger your channel. Should YouTube find a lot of bogus or bot-generated comments, it can flag your account, erase them, or even punish your channel in search results. Although I did not experience this, I have heard stories of YouTubers losing comments or having low-quality engagement resulting in lower exposure.
Finding a Reliable Option
After trying different SMM platforms, I came across LenosTube, a YouTube growth platform that claimed to offer the best YouTube services ranging from real views and likes to watch hours and comments. Initially, I thought this was just another false advertising like the others I had tested but I was happy when I was proven wrong. The first thing that impressed me was their user interface. Their site is easy to navigate and contains details of each service and package they offer.
LenosTube divides its YouTube comments service into two packages:
1. English Real Comments:
This package is further divided into Random Real Comments in English and Custom Comments Mix. In the first package, random comments relating to your videos will be delivered slowly (to make it seem natural) and will come from real people. Since it was their cheapest comments package, I decided to buy this as a test. I bought 10 random comments for $4. I provided the link to my video and the comments were added within 2 days. I was expecting generic comments like “Nice Video” but I was surprised to see positive comments that were related to my tutorial.
The Custom Comments Mix package allows you to mix random comments with custom comments. After providing the link to your video, you can provide examples of the specific comments you want added to your video and this will be mixed with random comments from LenosTube.
2. Handwritten Comments
After trying the Random Real Comments in English package, I was impressed and proceeded to check their other package. The Handwritten Comments package gives you full autonomy to decide how the comments should be delivered. Firstly, each comment here was delivered from unique locations and IPs. LenosTube uses VPNs to achieve this and it helps increase your visibility in other countries. Another excellent feature is that you get to choose the gender of the people commenting. This can be especially useful if your videos relate more to a particular gender. For example, I post make-up tutorials and these relate more to females than males.
With the Handwritten Comments, I also specified some comments that I wanted to be added. You can add as many as you wish but it must be one per line. I was also able to dictate the speed of the delivery. I bought 40 comments which cost $30 and the default delivery speed was 5 per day but I changed it to 8. Also, LenosTube by default delivers the comments at the same time daily but I chose to distribute it over the day with an additional 20% price charge. The final feature of the Handwritten Comments is that LenosTube can also reply to your response to their original comment. This helps spark conversations that attract your organic audience to comment.
My Results – Did It Work?
The results of the purchased comments were truly astonishing and worth every penny. Firstly, the people dropping the comments had to watch my videos to be able to leave genuine, contextually relevant feedback. This naturally boosted my watch time and retention rates, as well as the overall engagement of the video.
Before buying comments, my average watch time was around 3 minutes and 45 seconds. After the purchased comments started rolling in, it jumped to 4 minutes and 56 seconds, indicating that viewers were staying longer. The comment count also grew significantly. My video originally had just 6 comments from organic viewers, but after purchasing 40 handwritten comments, the total count increased to 67, including replies and additional organic engagement.
I also noticed an increase in likes and shares. Before the campaign, the video had around 30 likes, but within a week of adding the purchased comments, that number grew to 106 likes, showing that the rise in engagement encouraged more positive interactions. Another major improvement was in my video’s ranking. Previously, it was ranked #11 for my target keyword, but after the boost in engagement, it climbed to #5 within 10 days, leading to more organic views.
Another unexpected benefit was gaining new subscribers. At the time of the experiment, my channel had around 1,250 subscribers, but within two weeks, I gained 57 new subscribers, many of whom discovered my content thanks to the increased visibility of the commented video.
The comments themselves were highly relatable and encouraged further discussions among my audience. Since the video was a make-up tutorial for beginners, several purchased comments expressed gratitude, with many users saying the tutorial was easy to follow and very helpful. Some users asked product-related questions, such as recommendations for beginner-friendly makeup brands and must-have items. Others even shared their own experiences with certain makeup products, which led to engaging conversations among my subscribers.
This additional engagement helped boost my video’s ranking and visibility, leading to a 14% increase in views across my other videos as well. The best part? It all looked natural and organic, making it an excellent investment.
Pros and Cons of Buying YouTube Comments
Pros:
- Boosts video engagement and credibility: Buying comments can help increase the overall engagement of your videos. In my case, it increased my watch time, retention rate, likes comments, and views, and I even got new subscribers. It also helps you to appear more credible to a new audience. For instance, people are more likely to click on my video when it has 100 likes, 60 comments, and 1000 views. This shows that some people have found my video helpful hence convincing them to click and watch.
- Can improve video ranking and attract organic comments: When engagements on your video start to increase, the YouTube algorithm will automatically increase your video ranking in search results. It will also recommend your videos to your target audience. The Handwritten Comments I bought encouraged organic comments as people could easily relate to them.
- LenosTube provides realistic, high-quality comments: If you decide to buy comments, you have to do it right and LenosTube is the best. With them, you will get high-quality comments that are related to your video and will not be taken down by YouTube. Also, the purchased comments come from real people with updated profiles,
- Helps kickstart new channels: Buying comments is a good way to promote your videos as a beginner. After posting a few good videos, you can leverage SMM platforms like LenosTube to boost your ranking. You can buy YouTube likes, views, subscribers and comments from them. The comments will help attract organic viewers thereby promoting your channel. Ensure you mix these with organic strategies like SEO optimization, attractive thumbnails, and so on.
Cons:
- Low-quality services can hurt your channel: Using SMM sites that make use of bots to deliver their YouTube comments can severely harm your channel. YouTube frowns upon the use of bots to gain engagements and a sudden spike in your engagement metrics can lead to a suspension. Hence, you have to be careful and do it right. LenosTube has years of experience delivering high-quality comments and other YouTube services using a drip-feed feature, so you can rest easy with them.
- LenosTube is a bit pricey for beginners: As good as LenosTube’s comments are, they can be a bit expensive for beginners just starting to grow their channel, especially the Handwritten Comments package. If you fall within this category, or your budget is tight, I will recommend starting with the Custom Comments Mix package. You can balance this with organic strategies and eventually scale up to the Handwritten Commenst package.
QQTube vs. LenosTube
One of the notable SMM sites I tried out while searching for the best site for YouTube comments was QQTube. Their YouTube comments were cheaper and I could order more comments compared to LenosTube. I bought 100 YouTube Custom Comments USA for about $11 and it was delivered within 5 days. While this was cheaper and there was room to provide specific comments, QQTube does not provide as much control over the delivery as LenosTube offers. With LenosTube, I could choose the gender, delivery rate, and more. This control of the customization helped promote my channel more than QQTube.
Should You Buy YouTube Comments?
I can confidently say that buying comments can be beneficial if done correctly. When used strategically, high-quality, contextually relevant comments can enhance engagement, improve video rankings, and even attract more organic interactions. To avoid spammy, bot-generated comments that can damage your channel, you need to pick a reliable supplier such as LenosTube.
Purchasing real, premium comments might be a wise investment if you are a new YouTuber trying to increase the exposure of a video or gain interaction. But keep in mind that this should be part of a broader growth strategy. Combining purchased engagement with organic efforts like SEO optimization, compelling thumbnails, audience interaction, and consistent content creation will yield the best long-term results.
So should you buy YouTube comments? Yes, but only if you’re using a trusted provider like LenosTube. Otherwise, the risks outweigh the benefits.
