Ultimately, Bengaluru defeated Punjab in a dramatic finale to achieve their first-ever trophy after struggling for the past 18 years in this IPL 2025. The final score was 190/9 (20 overs) for Royal Challengers Bengaluru and 184/7 (20 overs) for Punjab Kings. Bengaluru won the match by a tight six runs.

Punjab– Punjab acquired the top position in the IPL 2025 season with 19 points (9wins, four losses, and 1 no-result). The 9 victories of Punjab put them level on points with RCB. However, their little higher net run rate positioned them in the top position.
Bengaluru– Bengaluru also secured 19 points (PW-4L-1NR) and completed second on net run rate. However, it finalized a playoff berth.

Orange Cap
Sai Sudharsan made the highest runs in this IPL 2025 season, with a score of 759 runs in 15 matches. He made the highest run with six cities and ended up with an unbeaten best of 108 runs. Suryakumar Yadav secured the second position with 717 runs, and Virat Kohli made 657 runs. Shubman Gill made 650 runs for Gujarat, with Mitchell Marsh close to him, making 627 runs for Lucknow.
Purple Cap
Prasidh Krishna became the top wicket-taker of this IPL 2025 season, acquiring 25 wickets across 15 matches and securing the purple cap. He secured the highest position in wickets from the side of Gujarat. Prasidh, the leader in fast bowling, holds three four-wicket hauls and ended up with a 19.52 bowling average. Noor Ahmad, leg-spinner of Chennai, and Josh Hazlewood from Bengaluru were close behind Gujarat with 24 and 22 wickets. In this playoff, Mumbai defeated Gujarat even after GT posted 228. Rohit Sharma made 81 and Suryakumar a 33. Sudharasan made 80 for GT against MI, which won by 20 runs. This loss eliminated GT even after having the Orange and Purple cap winners.
RCB vs CSK
RCB scored their first-ever double, defeating Chennai, following up a grand total in Ahmedabad. RCB made 213/6 to beat CSK by 2 runs. Ayush Mhatre charged back with a supreme 4, though his team still fell short.
DC vs LSG
Lucknow scored 209/4, whereas Delhi Capitals seemed dull until the pick up by Ashutosh Sharma and Vipraj Nigam. The great comeback of Delhi was one of the game changers in this IPL 2025 season.
DC vs RR
Rajasthan appeared all set to win with 189 after half-centuries. Mitchell Starc bowled great and defeated RR with 9 needed off. The experience of Starc made the team move forward.
LSG vs RR
