Any data processing or analysis jobs could be automated using these programming languages. R and Python have a large client base, which provides support and several packages and libraries that offer additional functionality and statistical models. Hence, by monitoring the busy periods of the drive-thru, the businesses can improve efficiency during the rush hours. When there is a large queue, the digital order boards change. They start highlighting items that can be developed quickly. This results in simplified orders that can be finished quickly. When the queue is short, fewer items with higher margins are offered. Through this, the store can address the real-time needs to improve efficiency. 

Another instance of a business analytics application is in predicting which customers are less likely to return. The businesses can target advertising and promotions to these customers to keep them loyal. 

Summary

Overall, business analytics helps in making data-driven decisions for the welfare of businesses. It helps with predictions for the future using the historical data and identifying the previous patterns. However, it is different from business intelligence, which aims to understand the past to understand the present.
