How AI Is Quietly Reshaping Online Advertising (Without You Noticing)

0
ai content

You probably didn’t wake up this morning thinking about online ads. But somewhere between checking your email and scrolling through news, a dozen micro-decisions were made on your behalf—by algorithms.

Artificial intelligence isn’t just shaping the future of advertising. It’s already here, quietly rewriting the rules in real time. The creepiness of a product you only thought about showing up on your feed? That’s not magic—it’s machine learning. And it’s getting more sophisticated by the day.

Even in decentralized, privacy-focused environments, AI is finding its way in. One case in point is AADS crypto ads, a privacy-first advertising platform that operates in the crypto space. It doesn’t rely on personal data, but it’s starting to tap into smarter targeting based on context, behavior, and even on-chain trends. It’s AI—but reimagined for a post-cookie world.

The Rise of Quiet AI in Ad Tech

We’ve been watching the AI wave hit marketing hard—ChatGPT for content, Midjourney for visuals, Copilot for code. But in advertising? AI has been doing its thing in the background for years.

  • Predicting when you’re most likely to engage
  • Matching ads to your behavior across sites
  • Adjusting bids in real time based on supply/demand
  • Automatically generating copy that feels human

What’s changed lately is how subtle it’s gotten. The targeting is smarter, the creatives are dynamic, and the whole process is optimized with barely a human in sight.

AI Without Cookies: Is It Possible?

The old model was simple: track user behavior with cookies, build a profile, and serve tailored ads. But as browsers crack down on tracking, and users demand more privacy, advertisers are scrambling.

AI offers a new route:

  • Contextual targeting: Using the page’s content—not user data—to serve relevant ads.
  • Intent modeling: Predicting what users want based on patterns, not profiles.
  • Federated learning: Training models on-device, without moving personal data around.

Platforms like AADS are built with these principles in mind. They’re not trying to replicate Google or Meta. They’re trying to build something better—ad networks that are anonymous by design, but still intelligent enough to deliver results.

Smarter Ads in a Decentralized World

One of the biggest shifts AI enables is bringing smart targeting to environments that never had it before.

Take blockchain and crypto websites. These platforms typically resist traditional ad systems, both for philosophical and technical reasons. But AI can still work here. It can analyze traffic patterns, wallet behaviors (in aggregate), and public on-chain activity to serve more relevant content—without ever touching personal data.

AADS crypto ads is a perfect example of this evolution. While respecting anonymity, it still gives advertisers enough signal to find aligned audiences—whether you’re promoting a DeFi app, NFT drop, or privacy-focused tool.

Dynamic Creatives Without Lifting a Finger

You don’t need to be a designer or copywriter anymore to launch a compelling ad. AI tools are generating banner layouts, CTA language, even color palettes—based on what converts best in real time.

That’s changing how solo entrepreneurs and indie developers approach advertising. It used to be a full-time job. Now, with platforms integrating AI design tools directly into ad creation, it’s more like dragging and dropping blocks in Notion.

Will it ever fully replace human creativity? Hopefully not. But for many use cases, “good enough” AI content is already outperforming human-made ads—because it adapts instantly.

The Invisible Hand of Optimization

There’s something unnerving about watching an ad platform spend your money better than you can. AI-driven bid optimization means:

  • Real-time decisions on which impressions to buy
  • Automatic A/B testing (and learning)
  • Budget reallocation based on performance feedback loops

It’s invisible, but powerful. You click “go” and the machine takes over. And when done well—like what emerging networks such as AADS are experimenting with—it leads to lower costs, higher reach, and less waste.

So… Should We Be Worried?

Honestly? A little. AI in advertising has serious upsides—efficiency, relevance, personalization—but it also raises ethical flags. Manipulative messaging, unconscious nudges, hyper-optimization that prioritizes clicks over well-being… it’s a minefield.

That’s why platforms that bake in privacy from the start matter. We need tools that use AI without abusing data. AADS isn’t perfect, but it’s moving in a healthier direction—one that values consent, decentralization, and transparency.

Final Thoughts

You may not see it, but AI is already woven into the fabric of your online experience. It’s shaping the ads you see, the content you click, and even how you feel about a product before you know you want it.

But it’s not all doom. When deployed thoughtfully—especially in ethical, privacy-first ecosystems like AADS crypto ads—AI can make advertising smarter without turning it into surveillance.

The real future of ads? It’s quiet, adaptive, anonymous—and oddly helpful.

Beyond the Booking: How Real Travel Agents Help When Plans Change

0

Traveling is fun, but you never know what will happen.  Your flight is delayed because of a snowfall.  The schedule for the cruise changes.  At the last minute, a hotel cancels your reservation.  These are the times when travel feels less like an adventure and more like a problem.

A lot of people utilize online booking sites because they are easy to use, however these sites don’t always work well when things don’t go as planned.  This is when you can really see how valuable a real travel agent is.

Travel agents don’t merely make your reservations and leave.  They become your support system, your personal advocates, and the people who help you with problems behind the scenes, especially when things don’t go as planned.

Let’s look at how actual travel agents, like those at Kavya Travel, step up when plans change, and why more customers are realizing how nice it is to have a real person on their side.

The Truth About Travel Problems

Some things about travel are out of your control, no matter how carefully you plan.  Some common problems are:

  • Delays or cancellations of flights
  • Cruise departures that were missed or changed
  • Hotels that are full or that close at the last minute
  • Changes in the weather or natural disasters
  • Personal emergencies or sickness
  • Changes in border policy or problems with visas

Any of these things could mess up your plans.  And when you book everything yourself online, you often have to scramble to get help from airline customer support or find answers on Google.

It’s a good idea to have backup plans if you’re going to a big city on your trip.  You may, for instance, look into some of the best things to do in Chicago so that you can still have a good time even if your plans change.

How a Real Agent Works Differently

You don’t have to deal with these problems on your own when you book through a travel agent.  A live agent can do things that a website can’t:

1. Act quickly in real time

Agents can move swiftly since they have access to booking tools and insider information.  If your flight is canceled or your ship leaves early, they can show you other options and rebook you right away, often even before an airline employee can help.

2. Give people advice, not just choices

A website might offer you hotels or flights that are available, but a real person can tell you which ones are best for you based on where you are, when you want to go, or how you like to travel.  That kind of knowledge can make the difference between a stressful detour and a smooth turn.

3. Take care of logistics and communication

Do you need to tell your hotel that you’ll be late?  Change your transfer?  Want to cancel a trip and get your money back?  A professional agent will make those calls for you so you don’t have to deal with everything yourself while you’re already stressed.

The Emotional Support Factor

Travel problems aren’t just practical; they can also be emotional.  Plans fall through, hopes change, and anger grows.  Having a real person to chat to can make a huge difference during these times.

Agents provide you peace of mind and clarity.  They’re not just repairing things; they’re also making you feel stable again.  A chatbot or booking engine would never give you that feeling of peace.

This kind of emotional support is one of the things that Kavya Travel’s clients like most about the service.  A lot of people who travel say it’s like having a friend in the travel business who is always just a phone call away.

Real Problems, Real Solutions

Here are some real-life instances of how travel agents can aid when plans change:

Example 1: Missed the cruise ship leaving

A family purchased a cruise to the Caribbean, and their flight was set to arrive just a few hours before they left.  They missed the cruise by only 45 minutes since their aircraft was late.  They were heartbroken, so they called their agent, who swiftly sent them to the ship’s next stop, found them a place to stay for the night, and talked to the cruise line to make sure they could board the next day.  Thanks to rapid thinking and competent help, what could have wrecked their trip was saved in just a few hours.

Example 2: Getting sick right before you leave

A woman who was traveling alone got sick the day before her departure to another country.  She was in a panic when she called her travel agency since she didn’t know how to change her trip or if she would lose all of her reservations.  The agent called the airline, hotel, and tour operator very away and worked out partial refunds and other dates with as few penalties as possible.  She probably would have lost the whole trip without that aid.

Example 3: Too Many Guests at the Hotel

When a couple got to their hotel in Europe, they found that it was full.  The reception desk didn’t help.  Their travel agency stepped in, found a nearby hotel that was similar, took care of the transportation, and even set up a partial reimbursement.  They were pleasantly booked into a new room by nightfall without having to do anything.

Help Before, During, and After

A excellent travel agent doesn’t just help you arrange your trip.  They’re involved the whole way:

  • Before the trip, they check your reservations, keep an eye on travel alerts, and remind you of key things like visa requirements and baggage limits.
  • While you’re on the vacation, they’re there to help if anything goes wrong, like a late flight, an excursion problem, or whatever else that comes up.
  • After the trip, if there are any problems with billing, missing points, or a complaint about service, they will contact the suppliers and speak up for you.

This kind of full-circle support makes travel easier and more fun, which is one of the main reasons people are going back to booking through agents.

Technology Can’t Do Everything

Of course, technology is still important.  Maps, applications, and confirmation emails that you may use online are all useful.  But when things go wrong or you just want someone else to handle it, nothing beats talking to a genuine person who cares about your trip.

The truth is that automated systems work brilliantly when everything goes right.  But what if it doesn’t?  You need someone who will help you.

That’s why people are preferring businesses like Kavya Travel, which focuses on helping people. Their clientele like knowing that they are not alone no matter what happens.

In the End, Booking is Only the Start

Anyone can make a reservation for a hotel or a flight.  But not everyone can come in and save your holiday when things go wrong.  That’s what a real travel agent can do for you.

Getting from point A to point B is only one part of travel.  It’s about the things you do, the memories you build, and the people that help you do them.  When you hire a professional agent, you get an expert, a helper, and someone who can solve your problems.

So, remember this the next time you book a trip: the booking process might only take a few minutes, but what occurs after that could make or break the whole trip.

And when it does?  You’ll be grateful to have had someone on your side.

Malicious Code-Injection Enabled By WooCommerce’s Pricing Plugin

0
Malicious Code-Injection Enabled By WooCommerce's Pricing Plugin

A couple of security flaws in Envato’s WooCommerce Dynamic Pricing and Discounts plugin might allow unauthorized attackers to execute arbitrary malicious scripts into unencrypted websites. This can lead to a number of assaults, such as website redirections to phishing pages, the injection of malicious codes on product pages, and so on.

The plugin, which has over 19,700 purchases on Envato Market, provides a number of pricing and marketing tools for e-commerce websites, such as bulk pricing, tiered pricing, special offers, deals of the day, bundled pricing, flash sales, wholesale pricing, member pricing, individual pricing, behavioral pricing, loyalty programs, location-based pricing, and so on. It also allows for conditional price increases and other costs.

As per Ninja Technologies Network experts, the two unauthenticated flaws affect versions 2.4.1 and lower. The first one is a high-severity stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability, while the other is a medium-severity configuration export issue.

As per a Tuesday post by NinTechNet, the XSS flaw resides in the __construct method of the “wc-dynamic-pricing-and-discounts/classes/rp-wcdpd-settings.class.php” script.

“It lacks a capability check and a security nonce and thus is accessible to everyone, authenticated or not,” researchers explained. “An unauthenticated user can import the plugin’s settings. Because some fields aren’t sanitized, the attacker can inject JavaScript code into the imported JSON-encoded file.”

They said that if the code is successful, it would be run on every product page of the WooCommerce e-shop. Furthermore, attackers may substitute JavaScript code with any HTML elements, including a Meta Refresh tag, to reroute users and customers to a fraudulent website.

Furthermore, the import operation misses a safety nonce to protect from cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks, which occur when a user submits illegal orders from a website which the web app trusts.

The second flaw arises because a fundamental export operation lacks an ability check and is available to all users, authorized or not.

“An unauthenticated user can export the plugin’s settings, inject JavaSript code into the JSON file and reimport it using the previous vulnerability,” according to NinTechNet.

The vulnerabilities have been resolved in version 2.4.2, however, the CSRF check has not been corrected, according to the researchers.

Clients of WooCommerce, WordPress’s popular e-commerce platform, are no novices to needing to patch security issues, and it’s critical to stay on top of patching. WooCommerce, for example, pushed emergency remedies for a serious SQL injection security flaw in the main platform as well as a related plugin that was attacked as a zero-day flaw last month. The flaw may allow unauthorized cyberattackers to steal a trove of information out of a digital store’s database, including everything from consumer data and credit card information to staff credentials.

A new ransomware Lorenz is making round

A new ransomware Lorenz is making round

A new ransomware gang has been detected to target various organizations globally with their customized attacks. The ransomware is dubbed Lorenz and it has started it operation last month. It has made a growing list of victims since then.

What has happened?

Researchers have found that this ransomware is almost same as another ransomware named ThunderCrypt. However, they are not sure if Lorenz is created by the same group or the source code of ThunderCrypt has been purchased by someone else.

  • Lorenz starts with the breach of the network of the organization and then it spreads laterally to other devices until it gains the access to the credentials of Windows domain administrator.
  • The ransomware collects information while spreading through the system, and upload it to the remote server.
  • The ransomware does a process called double extortion, where they upload the stolen data to the dedicated data leak sites and pressurize the victim to y the ransom. Also, the data can be bought by other threat actors.

New way of leaking the stolen data-

Lorenz has devised an innovative trick to pressurize the victim to pay the ransomware-

  • The stolen data is kept for sale by the threat actors by releasing password protected data for leak archives with the data of the victim.
  • In case no ransomware is paid or the stolen data is not purchased by anyone, they make the data publicly available by releasing the password for the archive.
  • They also sell the network of the victim along with the data, which sometimes can be more useful.

Conclusion-

This new ransomware is spreading fast with high ransom demand and customized attack. They also sell access to breached networks. So, it is important for the security professionals to keep an eye out for this kind of threats.

How Will Bug Bounty Programs Combat AI Biases?

0
Bug Bounty Programs

Twitter unveiled its first-ever AI bug bounty program earlier this month. The task is to identify bias in its picture cropping method. After the META team discovered tiny cases of bias in their analysis earlier this year, Twitter disabled the picture cropping algorithms from public usage and latest news post.

The winners will be chosen using a methodology developed by Twitter’s Machine Learning Ethics, Accountability, and Transparency, or the META team. The first-place award will be $3,500, which would be disclosed during this year’s DEF CON AI Village.

Faulty AI systems

AI-based businesses typically use a black box to prevent critical scrutiny of the findings generated from their systems. This has caused stakeholders to be worried about the lack of transparency and corporations’ failure to convey the critical aspects for the execution of their AI-based solutions.

Bug bounties, which compensate hackers for identifying flaws in software code before bad actors use them, are becoming indispensable in the realm of security. These bug bounty schemes might be beneficial to businesses when evaluating their results based on interpretability.

Thus, bug bounty programs not only serve to ensure the company’s confidence by identifying flaws but also aid in the evaluation of the firm’s cybersecurity division.

AI Project Bug Bounties

Professionals from Google Intel, Brain, OpenAI, and leading research laboratories in the United States and Europe collaborated last year to create a toolset for putting AI ethical concepts into reality. It has established numerous standards, including compensating engineers to uncover bias in AI, similar to bug bounties in cybersecurity software.

The paper stated, “If companies were more open earlier in the development process about possible faults, and if users were able to raise (and be compensated for raising) concerns about AI to institutions, users might report them directly instead of seeking recourse in the court of public opinion.”

According to Andrew Cormack, the chief regulatory officer at Jisc, bug bounties schemes, which compensate researchers for finding security weaknesses, have completely changed the way the tech industry addresses vulnerabilities. Bug bounties, according to Cormack, are a watershed moment in the way the IT industry addresses vulnerabilities. Today, suppliers and security professionals are proactive in their approach to security as a matter of course.

While bounty contests are not a substitute for systematic analysis and testing, they can allow organizations to subject their technologies to tests they would not have explored otherwise.

Popular AI Bias Bug Bounty Schemes

  • Logically’s Bug Bounty Program: Logically has been collaborating with security professionals to keep customers safe from malicious networks and mobile apps.
  • The Mozilla Security Bug Bounty Program is intended to encourage security research in Mozilla software and to reward people who contribute to making the internet a lot safer.
  • Its CRASH initiative, which stands for Community Reporting of Algorithmic System Harms, brings key stakeholders together for tool discovery, scoping, and iterative prototyping. This is done to make AI systems more accountable and safe.
  • ‘The Internet Bug Bounty’ is hosted by HackerOne, a “hacker-based” security testing platform. This initiative pays hackers who discover security flaws in some of the internet’s most critical applications. The initiative is funded by GitHub, Facebook, Hackerone, Microsoft, and the Ford Foundation and is overseen by a panel of volunteers chosen from the cybersecurity community.
  • Bugcrowd is a crowdsourced security platform that uses analytics, automated security procedures, and human knowledge to identify and patch significant vulnerabilities. Bugcrowd revealed a $30 million Series D financing round in April 2020. It has cooperated with a diverse range of customers, including Atlassian, Tesla, Square, Mastercard, and Fitbit. They evaluate platforms for major technology companies and retailers such as eBay and Amazon.

End of Spam Calls? TRAI’s Updated & Tighter Regulations

0
End of spam calls?

Anil Kumar Lahoti, TRAI chairman, stated that strict regulations will be introduced in January to curb spam calls. A new consultation on the authorisation framework is also expected to roll out. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has launched a pilot program to transfer paper-based and previous customer consents for commercial requests onto a digital distributed ledger technology platform. Let’s dig deeper into the updates related to ‘end of spam calls’ regulations.

What Has TRAI Announced?

The TRAI announced stricter rules for spam calls and messages over telecom networks on February 12, 2025. Under the new regulations to the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations (TCCCPR), 2018, telecos are required to accept complaints against spam calls or messages within a period of up to a week of receiving them. Then, it acts on unregistered telemarketers quickly and implements lower tolerance thresholds for reported spammers.

Legal business texts will now have further disclosure processes. Customers will now be able to detect the type of commercial text by simply looking at its header, such as -p, -s, -g, etc., which is attached to the message header for the detection of promotional, service, government, and transactional messages.

What Will Happen to Reported Spammers?

Reported spammers will experience further investigations. All telecom resources of the sender will be restricted for 15 days if it exceeds the regulatory threshold initially. However, if the violation continues, all telecom resources of the sender, including PRI/SIP trunks, will be discontinued across all service providers for a minimum of one year. Also, the sender will be blacklisted for lifetime.

Financial charges of around Rs 2-10 lakhs have been imposed on telcos that misreport spam complaints received from users. Recently, steps taken by telcos to block spam calls using AI have been supported by the new regulation. Access providers are obligated to evaluate call and text patterns based on factors such as unusually high call volumes, short call times, and low incoming-to-outgoing call ratios.

The Do Not Disturb tool, which had not been managed in the long term, has been updated in the new regulation. The app enables users to report messages and call spam to their telecos. Anil Kumar Lahoti stated that reporting was an important part of the ‘end of spam calls’ measure.

Can These Regulations Cause ‘End of Spam Calls’?

Over the years, customers have been disturbed, stressed, and bombarded by spam calls. These calls generally come from unregistered telemarketers who use easily accessible telecom resources. The calls are often commercial and have become a primary source of frustration over the period. They have been disturbing millions of citizens across the nation. With TRAI’s new regulations to ‘end of spam calls’, there is a new ray of light that this harassment could finally come to an end.

By putting a pause on the telecom resources of unregistered telemarketers, TRAI has been dealing with the root issues. The 2-year ban on the resources and even blacklisting of the senders ensures that frequent violators will find it difficult to continue their operations further.

Such a move is further expected to reduce the number of spam calls, particularly coming from the unregistered telemarketers who have escaped detection in the past.

Is this Sufficient to Curb Spam Calls?

Although these regulations are stringent enough to stop spam calls, the question still remains about their enforcement and long-term effectiveness. The new regulations by TRAI further aim to bring all the unregistered telemarketers under the DLT platform within a month. However, ensuring compliance across the telecom sector is a difficult task.

Regular monitoring and stricter penalties will also be crucial to maintaining the effectiveness of these regulations. Moreover, reducing the number of spam calls and blocking telecom resources can be a new approach. Hence, customers should be vigiland and report spam calls to assist TRAI impose these regulations effectively.

The newest strategy is a major and crucial step by TRAI to curb spam call harassment, which has been impacting millions of lives.

How to Report Spam Calls?

You can report spam calls to the FTC and Google. Hence, users can identify and report calls through below options:

  • FTC– Go to the official website of the FTC and follow the on-screen prompts. During this process, you will be asked to fill in the details regarding the call, such as the phone number used.
  • Android– Go to the recent call logs, choose the spam number or suspected number, and hold it till you find the option to ‘Report Spam’.

What’s Ahead?

Ahead in 2025, TRAI is emphasising recommendations for Satellite communications spectrum, which is an important problem involving major telecom operators like Jio and Airtel along with Starlink. Lahoti refused to provide specific details or a timeline for the release of these recommendations, but assured that all comments would be examined fairly.

Along with Satellite communications, TRAI’s 2025 goal includes recommendations for network authorisation, a new broadcasting authorisation framework, and the revision of the national numbering plan for fixed-line services. The strategies to end of spam calls and texts will continue, with TRAI continuing implementation of a dedicated 160-series number for service or transactional calls, different from the 140-series that will be retained for commercial calls.

Lahoti also suggested TRAI’s plans to finalise the recommendations on millimeter-wave spectrum within a month and launch of consultation paper on backhaul spectrum. The regulator focuses on enhancing digital permission acquisition since problems arise in transferring old paper-based consents into a DLT platform.

To overcome such problems, TRAI makes efforts to partner with stakeholders to create a solution that facilitates seamless onboarding and verification of previous consents without affecting services. Lahoti interpreted that the goal is to make sure that the consents obtained in the past are properly recorded on the DLT platform, allowing customers to access option to opt out when they do not like receive communications.

Being a part of the pilot, TRAI works with some service provers and key companies to examine the migration process for the old consents.

AI in Business & Data: Insights from Techcanvass’ CEO

“Do what you like and success will follow you. Passion is the fuel behind the engine of a successful career.” – Abhishek Srivastava, the CEO of Techcanvass

Abhishek Srivastava, the founder of Techcanvass, has played quite a major role in building the company. With over 25 years of experience, he’s achieved what many young entrepreneurs aspire to. As a graduate of NIT and IIM Kozhikode, he brings both strong academic credentials and hands-on leadership, which have mostly shaped his approach at Techcanvass.

Here is what Abhishek Srivastava has spoken about his journey in AI and business analytics, as well as what his company offers to make individuals future‑ready. In this interview with Business Upside, he has expressed his views on how AI will bring changes in the business arena and what skills should be honed.

  1. How do you see the changes led by AI in the business landscape in the next 5 years, and what skills do you find important for professionals to remain relevant?

Answer: I’ve been at the intersection of technology, education, and workforce upskilling for quite some time, and I see companies increasingly adopting intelligent tools and methods to streamline operations. In many cases, what used to be considered futuristic is now a must‑have. Professionals are most likely realizing that they can’t wait to learn new tools; they need to pick them up now in order to stay relevant.

One striking case is Viz.ai’s stroke detection platform. It’s changing emergency care in U.S. hospitals by interpreting medical images in real time and notifying medical teams almost instantly – something that only a few years ago seemed almost science fiction. Using examples like this in our training helps learners at Techcanvass connect theoretical ideas to what’s happening in the real world.

Another example is UPS’s ORION (On‑Road Integrated Optimization and Navigation) system. Every day, many drivers rely on this platform to plan better delivery routes. It considers maps, package details, traffic patterns, and delivery windows all together. UPS estimates that ORION cuts delivery distances by about 100 million miles per year, saving fuel and cutting emissions – which is quite something. It shows how technology can bring both cost savings and environmental benefits, when used wisely.

Since the industry is moving fast, professionals need to upskill in order to keep pace. The World Economic Forum reports that nearly 40% of core job skills will be disrupted by 2030. That matches what we mostly see at Techcanvass. So we built our curriculum with an “intelligent tools-first” mindset: not just teaching theory, but preparing people for the actual roles that are forming now.

Some skills that seem most important: Analytical Thinking and Creative Thinking – because those are things machines can’t fully replicate. Afterwards, skills around understanding data (how to interpret it, how it’s collected, cleaned, used) and systems thinking matter quite a bit, especially as processes become more interconnected.

  1. What are some of the potential threats that businesses face while implementing AI solutions, and how can professionals overcome them?

Answer: That’s one of the trickiest parts. At Techcanvass, we try to underscore responsible practices because too often people focus on what’s possible and neglect what can go wrong. I’m often telling students that knowing risks is just as important as knowing potential.

Some of the threats include:

  • High Costs and Unclear ROI: Projects involving cutting‑edge tools or intelligent systems often require big investments – in computing, in hiring experts, in licensing. If there isn’t a well‑thought‑out business case, costs can balloon without guarantee of good returns.
  • Poor Data Quality: It’s the “garbage in, garbage out” situation. If your data is incomplete, inconsistent, biased, or inaccurate, then whatever you build on top of it will most likely suffer.
  • Algorithmic Bias: Using historical data can unintentionally reproduce unfair outcomes – say, in hiring or lending. Without checks, what was once bias becomes amplified.
  • Privacy and Security: With lots of sensitive information involved, there are real compliance and security risks. Regulations like GDPR or CCPA are forcing companies to think carefully about data handling, permissions, user consent, and so on.
  • Lack of Skills: It’s not easy to find people who know both the domain (business, operations, sector) and the technical side (data, modeling, interpretation). Many organizations are still catching up in this area.

In order to solve these problems, professionals should focus on learning all the time, being conscious of ethics, having solid governance, and making sure that every project has a defined goal. You need more than just tools; you need supervision, excellent data hygiene and realistic goals.

  1. How do you think AI will transform the job role of business analysts, and what new skills do they need to stay updated?

Answer: Business Analysts often do a lot of the groundwork: gathering requirements, mapping processes, writing detailed specs. That remains important, but it also limits how far one can move up the ladder. I believe things will shift.

Instead of handling every task manually, analysts will increasingly delegate repetitive or data‑heavy parts to intelligent systems. This means analysts can invest their time toward higher impact work – identifying opportunities, shaping strategy, working closely with stakeholders.

Business analysts will most likely become strategic advisors. They’ll define problem statements more sharply, ensure that implemented solutions deliver concrete value and help guide decisions rather than just document them.

In order to get there, they’ll need:

Strong Foundational BA Skills: requirement gathering, stakeholder management, process analysis, problem solving – all still essential.

AI Literacy & Tools knowledge: knowing how to use tools for machine learning, natural language processing, generative tools; also knowing their limits.

Data Acumen: understanding data sources, data bias, how models are trained; not to become data scientists, but to be savvy enough to critique outputs.

Ethical & Responsible AI Awareness: awareness of privacy, fairness, transparency; asking questions about what gets automated and whether that’s fair or sustainable.

  1. According to you, how will data analysis change in the next few years?

Answer: At Techcanvass, we’re already seeing shifts and in many cases helping bring them about. Our DAIC program is producing professionals who are doing things just a few years ago considered too advanced.

Right now, a lot of work is spent cleaning and preparing data. That will mostly be automated in order to free analysts to focus more on interpretation and insight. Think of it as having a capable assistant handling the tedious stuff so that you can spend time being creative and strategic.

Also, querying data will probably become more natural. People will ask questions in everyday language – “Which campaign in region X did well last quarter?” rather than writing long queries. Tools will interpret the intent, pull data and show visuals. That means data access becomes democratized, available to many more people, not only specialists.

Beyond that, the role will shift from being a “data cruncher” to being a “data storyteller”. Someone who not only looks at numbers, but asks what they mean, why they matter, and helps guide decisions based on those stories. Human judgment, context, nuance – these will still be quite important.

  1. Can you share personal experiences using AI in business and Data Analysis?

Answer: At my company, Techcanvass – an ed‑tech and consulting firm – we have an in‑house product development team and lately we’ve been building intelligent tools as part of our product lineup. I wear multiple hats, so beyond CEO duties, I serve as Product Owner. That means I help steer the roadmap, write specs, work with developers, etc.

In many tasks, I now use tools to help me: drafting acceptance criteria, modelling processes, creating spec documents. We recently found a tool (by Google) that helps mock up application designs and honestly, the results have been quite impressive. It speeds things up.

Using these tools has helped me save almost half my time and has reduced the communication gaps within the team. Less back‑and‑forth; clearer expectations. It’s made a real difference.

  1. Can you explain the significance of data quality and data governance in the context of AI and Data Analysis?

Answer: Data quality and governance are pretty much non‑negotiable if you want results you can trust and value you can count on.

Data is the fuel behind everything. Whether you’re working with large language systems or more traditional machine learning, you need accurate, consistent, complete and biased‑aware data. If the foundation is shaky, everything built on it can collapse.

Data governance is the framework that ensures that foundation stays solid. It defines who owns the data, who can access it, how it’s protected and how changes are audited. Without good governance, issues like misuse, leaks, or unintentional bias are much more likely.

You can think of data quality as the state of your data; governance is the blueprint that ensures quality is maintained over time. One‑time cleaning helps, but only governance ensures things stay right as systems evolve.

  1. Do you think data visualization impacts the way businesses communicate insights and make decisions?

Answer: Yes, visualization matters quite a bit in how businesses tell stories with their data and make decisions.

When you have lots of data coming in from different sources, it can be overwhelming. Good visuals – dashboards, infographics, charts – help people see patterns, spot when something is off, and act quickly. For instance, a retailer heading into the holiday season might use a dashboard to see which stores are low on hot‑selling items and realign inventory; that prevents lost sales.

Tools like Power BI, Looker, etc., make this mostly easier and faster to share across teams. It turns what might be vague hunches into clear visuals, so organizations can be more proactive rather than reactive.

  1. What certifications do you recommend for professionals in AI and Data Analysis to stay ahead?

Answer: It depends mostly on where someone is starting from. If you’re just getting into this field, free introductory courses (Coursera, EdX, etc.) are good in order to build your base. Andrew Ng’s courses, for example, are quite respected.

Here are recommendations by role:

For Business Analysts:

ECBA (Entry Certificate in Business Analysis) – ideal for beginners.

CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis) – suited if you’ve got 2‑3 years of experience.

CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) – more for senior analysts working on complex stuff.

PMI‑PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) – useful if you also deal with project management.

IIBA‑CBDA (Certification in Business Data Analytics) – especially if you want to focus on analytics in a BA context.

AI Certification for Business Analysts (AIBA) – a course by Techcanvass meant to help BAs become capable of handling intelligent tools and related challenges.

For Data Analysts:

Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate – beginner friendly.

IBM Data Analyst Professional Certificate – includes hands-on training in tools like Python, SQL, visualization.

Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate – emphasizes modeling and dashboarding.

Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) – more senior, covering a broad analytics lifecycle.

Data Analytics and AI Certification (DAIC) – a 10‑week program to build analytics from scratch and learn application development as well.

It’s also important to align certifications with what you want to do. Certifications are mostly useful when matched with a portfolio of real‑world projects that demonstrate you can apply what you’ve learned.

  1. Can you share any success stories or real‑world applications of skills gained through your certifications?

Answer: Sure. We recently worked with a mid‑career professional in financial services who wanted to shift into a Business Analyst role. She had domain experience but was missing some core BA skills. Through targeted upskilling and ECBA certification, she made that transition within six months into a fintech startup. Now she’s translating business needs into technical specs quite smoothly.

Also, our AI Certification for Business Analysts and for Data Analysts are structured in order to double productivity. We focus on tools, techniques and hands‑on application, not just theory. Since we design programs around actual industry expectations, people see results more quickly.

In order to understand better and learn more, you can visit Techcanvass.

  1. Do you think the demand for AI in business will increase in the future? If yes, how will it impact?

Answer: Yes, I absolutely believe the demand will rise significantly. Businesses are seeing what’s possible now, so investment is already increasing. But many are still figuring things out; only a few are quite mature in how they deploy intelligent technologies.

A McKinsey report from 2025 says that 92% of organizations plan to increase investments over the next few years, yet very few consider themselves fully ready. And a PwC estimate suggests a potential contribution to the global economy of up to $15.7 trillion by 2030. That gives a sense of the scale.

What does this mean in practice? First, many repetitive, data‑intensive tasks will be automated. Things like fraud detection, basic auditing, recruitment screening, customer query handling – those are mostly going to be handled more by systems. That frees people to focus on creative, strategic, or interpersonal areas, where human judgment matters.

Second, strategy itself will change. Companies will use predictive analytics, personalization, real‑time data, etc., in order to anticipate market shifts rather than just react. In places like logistics hubs, supply chains, retail, etc., this could reshape how things operate. Firms that adapt will probably gain much more: better customer insights, more efficient operations, and a clearer competitive edge.
