Security experts have discovered a spear-phishing campaign carried out by the North Korean APT
known as Lazarus. The campaign aims at stealing critical data from defense companies by leveraging
an advanced malware called ThreatNeedle. The ongoing cyberespionage campaign used emails with
COVID-19 themes paired with publicly available personal information of targets to lure them into
taking the malware. IEMLabs cybersecurity forum intends to highlight this issue and encourages you
to raise your voice of concern on this matter.
